Wintersport-Arena Sauerland

From the hotel, you can quickly reach the various ski resorts that make up the Wintersport-Arena Sauerland. With the Wintersport-Arena ski pass (from 3 days), you can ski in all 7 participating ski areas, including popular spots such as Skiliftkarussell Winterberg (27 km of slopes) and Willingen – Ettelsberg (16 km of slopes). Thanks to the relatively short distances between resorts, it’s easy to explore a different area each day.


Winterberg (Skiliftkarussell) is 25 km from the hotel – a 30-minute drive or 45 minutes by public transport. Willingen – Ettelsberg is 47 km away and takes about 60 minutes by car.

The Wintersport-Arena Sauerland is perfect for those new to skiing. The slopes are easy to navigate, the atmosphere is relaxed, and ski rental and lessons are easy to arrange. There are runs for every level — from kids and beginners to experienced skiers.
