Food is an important part of your stay at Sauerland Alpin Hotel. Every day, we serve tasteful and well-prepared meals in buffet style — from an extensive breakfast buffet to a 4-course dinner buffet featuring regional classics with international flair. Thanks to the buffet concept, there’s something for everyone, including vegetarian, child-friendly, and diet-friendly options. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies.

Breakfast

Every morning, a generous breakfast buffet is waiting for you, including:

  • Freshly baked rolls, breads, and croissants
  • Regional cold cuts and cheeses
  • Muesli and a variety of yogurts
  • Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and bacon
  • Fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and fruit juices


Breakfast: daily from 08:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Lunch Snack

Around midday, we serve a light but tasty lunch break featuring:

  • A selection of bread rolls, cold cuts, and cheeses
  • Daily changing salads
  • One warm snack


Lunch snack: daily from 12:00 PM – 02:00 PM

Dinner

In the evening, we serve a 4-course buffet with a fixed structure. You can choose between meat, fish or vegetarian options. Expect classic regional dishes such as schnitzel, cordon bleu, kassler, chicken thigh, and Backschinken — along with fish like cod, pike-perch, or haddock. Everything is carefully prepared and complemented by a variety of salads, soups, and desserts.
There are usually suitable options for children and guests with dietary requirements available on the buffet.


Dinner: daily from 06:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Bar & atmosphere

Our Hexxenstube bar is the social heart of the hotel. The perfect place to wind down with a drink, a game, or a good conversation. On sunny days, you can relax outside on the terrace. Live music is played regularly, usually two, sometimes three evenings a week. House wines, draft beer, soft drinks, and local liqueurs are included in the All-Inclusive Light package. There is no à la carte menu or room service available beyond this offering.

Frequently asked questions about All-Inclusive Light

  • Are alcoholic drinks included?

    Yes. Draft beer and house wine are included until midnight. Spirits and cocktails are available for a fee.

  • Can I choose between lunch at the hotel or a packed lunch for the road?

    That's possible. We serve a lunch snack daily, but you can also bring a packed lunch to take with you. Just let us know during breakfast or upon arrival.

  • Are drinks included outside of meals?

    Yes. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, draft beer, and house wine are included outside of meals – until midnight.


  • Do I need to make a reservation for dinner?

    No, you're automatically welcome at the dinner buffet. Theme nights will be announced on-site.


  • Does the kitchen cater for children or dietary requirements?

    Absolutely. There's plenty of choice every day, and we're happy to accommodate allergies or dietary preferences. Just let us know in advance.

  • What if I want to eat out one day?

    No problem. You decide which parts of the package you use.
